Award-Winning Managed Service Provider to Join 3LS Professional Services Division

A Cincinnati tech firm and a mainstay on the Inc. 5000 has been acquired by a holding company in a deal that transitions it to 100% employee ownership

3LS, Inc. has announced the acquisition of Cincinnati-based Intrust IT, a nationally recognized technology company specializing in cybersecurity, cloud computing and artificial intelligence services.

According to the Cincinnati Business Courier, the move advances Intrust IT’s long-term vision of becoming 100% employee-owned while positioning the company for continued growth across new markets and industries.

Founded in 1992, Intrust IT has built a strong reputation for innovation, client service and culture, earning six appearances on the Inc. 5000 list and recognition as one of Cincinnati’s fastest-growing companies. The company serves clients across banking, manufacturing, healthcare, government and other sectors.

“This acquisition is a testament to the culture that we’ve created over 33 years,” Intrust IT founder Tim Rettig told the Courier. “From the very beginning, 3LS has wanted to maintain that culture and support us for the long haul.”

Intrust IT joins 3LS’s growing portfolio of employee-owned companies and strengthens its expanding professional services division alongside 40 Million Owners and 5by5.
