Employee-Owned Holding Company to Make Brentwood Building New HQ
Shannon Litton promoted to Chief Integration Officer
(NASHVILLE, TN) SEPTEMBER 30, 2026 — 3LS Inc., a rapidly-growing, 100% employee-owned holding company, announced today that it has purchased and will begin renovations this fall on a Brentwood building in Maryland Farms to serve as the company’s new flagship headquarters. Set to open Summer 2027, the 38,000-square-foot building is located at 5314 Maryland Way and will be the permanent home for the full breadth of 3LS’s mission-driven work to do good and empower good—which ranges from child welfare and behavioral healthcare to technology, professional services, real estate and beyond.
With the announcement, the company also named Shannon Litton Chief Integration Officer of 3LS Inc., a first-of-its-kind position for the organization. Litton is the Founder of award-winning 5by5 Agency, which joined the 3LS Inc. family of 100% employee-owned Changemaker companies in 2025 and currently serves as the CEO of 3LS Professional Services. “We’ve experienced a tremendous season of growth over the last two years,” says Strickland. “We’ve gone from 18 companies and almost 700 employees to 27 companies with nearly 1,500 employee-owners. So we were searching for a headquarters where our team could collaborate, learn and build the futures that they and our changemaker clients deserve, while also wanting to integrate all of our companies and cultures with excellence and care.”
He continued: “I couldn’t be more excited to expand our footprint in Nashville and plant our flag in the Middle Tennessee community that has supported us for 35 years now. And I know that Shannon Litton is the perfect person to help lead us into this new chapter, building the culture, the systems and the processes among our family of companies that make us thrive and grow stronger together.”
The company announced that Litton will retain her role and title as CEO of 3LS Professional Services while she steps into her new role as Chief Integration Officer. She will report directly to Strickland and focus on executing the holding company’s strategic goals across its family of companies, strengthening the communication and collaboration between them and leading the development of the organization’s new headquarters.
